"Please see attached details of a Stroke School offered by a local swimteam, 757swim. This is an opportunity for children to refine their strokes without having to commit to an all year round swimteam."
October 6, 2017:
We received the following update regarding the Bond Call.
Sub-contractors for Branscome were in the community this past week completing crack fill on the base and will have a crew working on the repairs to the road base in sections 5 & 6 in the near future. We have not been given specific dates for the work but have requested a more detailed schedule from Branscome. We will post further updates as they are received.
The Contract for the paving in sections 5 & 6 has been signed with Branscome and we are awaiting for the work to be scheduled. We will notify residents as soon as we receive information on the road work schedule.
The Bond company has contracted with Branscome to complete the paving in the community. Representatives from VDOT, Branscome, Jametown LLC, and the County met on August 1st and completed the inspection of roads in section 5 & 6 and the necessary repairs to the road base will be accomplished prior to the final paving of the roads.
We will post updated timelines on the project as we receive them from the county and/or contractor.
Please see the Roads Information page for further information.
